Who are the Students? The students are as diverse as the communities they come from. A perfect example of this is the mix of talents and backgrounds in the current class: Some are married, some divorced or widowed, and some single. Some have never had children, while a couple have grandchildren. And their professions are as varied as the people: One is a writer, another a landscaper. Two work with the dying, another counsels inmates, still another looks out for the needs of children. One ran his own business, another is a computer systems programmer, another a structural engineer, another works for an aerospace firm. Several others are healers or health workers. A couple have worked or are currently working as ministers. The one thing they all have in common is a desire to learn more: more about how they fit into the world, more about how to help others, more about God. Their search brought them to the School of Sacred Ministries and, as a result, their lives have been forever changed.
