About the Program and How
to Apply
The current ordination class began in September 2007
and students will be ordained in December 2009.
Our primary focus is to provide
the finest teaching staff available. Our secondary goal is to attract
students who feel deeply committed to finding a way to live their lives
in a manner that supports them as well as the spiritual community.
Through the understanding of
the world's spiritual beliefs and customs, we offer the opportunity for
people to become leaders and co-creators in sharing the acceptance of
all spiritual paths.
You will experience a 2 1/3 year in-depth ministerial education
leading to ordination, with optional 3rd year programs.
Year one: An exploration of the world's great religions, including earth-based,
tribal, eastern and western traditions. Mysticism and metaphysics are
weaved in throughout the curriculum.
Year two: Preparation for performing ministerial services, such as spiritual
and grief counseling, conflict resolution, ethics and law, and performing
rituals and ceremonies.
Year three: Optional training for students interested in broadening their
knowledge. Apprenticeships are customized to meet the student's interests.
Arrangements are made with individual instructors.
Our faculty members are university professors, authors, professionals,
and ministers from the various walks of life. They are considered outstanding
in their respective fields and are highly regarded by colleagues and students.
This school offers a "heart centered" approach to training,
focusing on experiental rather than purely book-based training.
All classes will immerse you in the subject matter. For example,
the weekend on Judiasm is taught by Rabbis.
Classes meet two Saturdays per month from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm at Pebble
Hill Church. There are no classes scheduled in the
summer. Retreats are held off campus at beautiful retreat centers.
We will be hosting open houses
throughout 2009.
