Our Advisory Circle
As a the governing and leadership body, the School of Sacred Ministries
Advisory Circle is responsible for organizing, publicizing and facilitating
classes, retreats and other workshops designed to teach the students.
The circle sets meeting agendas and policy.
Each student is assigned an advisor for their two year
experience at the school. The advisor provides support for the student
and reviews reflection papers and other student progress throughout
the length of the program.
A minimum of two circle members are present at all classes and at least
three circle members are present at all retreats.
All of the advisory circle members are ordained interfaith ministers.
They maintain objectivity and possess self-awareness, humility and a
positive attitude. They continue to do personal inventory, making amends
when appropriate, and participate in and out of classes as active listeners.
Of utmost value, each member of the School of Sacred Ministries Advisory
Circle maintains the dignity of the circle and of the school.
