Sacred Ministries Ordination

Thoughts from Rev. Caroline Walker:

Hello!  I was in the very first class.  None of us wanted to be a minister, and there were 26 in all who were ordained.  After the ordination service, I felt that something had shifted in me.  I did want to be a minister.

I talked with Peter Roche de Coppens about it, and asked if the service could have actually changed my cells.  He told me, "Yes, if all the elements of ritual were there."  And, they must have been, for I did feel that shift at a celullar level.  I have not put that into practice yet, but will soon.

I plan to start with forming a spiritual discussion group, and seeing where that might lead.  Mostly, I want to start it to create my own spiritual community.  I miss that very much.  The students who were with me in that first class were my community, and still are, yet I am way up here in Maine now, so don't have that connection in an ongoing level.

At our ordination service, one could see how connected we all were.  We were so in love with each other!!  It was a glorious experience.

May all the students feel that experience, and revel in it!
